Degree Programs

The Department offers both professional and academic degrees. The professional degrees are the Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) and Doctor of Public Health (Dr.P.H.), which are oriented toward preparing public health practitioners. The M.P.H. for Health Professionals provides instruction designed to accomodiate the schedules of working professionals. The academic degrees are the Master of Science in Public Health (M.S.P.H.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) which are more research-oriented degrees.
