Areas of Research & CentersCenters for Environmental Quality and Health Human activity has transformed environmental health in profound ways. Environmental problems are now global and long-lasting. Toxic chemical exposure, global warming, population growth, habitat destruction, and social/psychosocial factors have produced crises that require long-term social and technical change for their solutions. COEH-affiliated centers and programs seek to expand our knowledge base, provide exceptional training of students to address these issues, and interact with Southern California communities as an interface between the University and the public. Please see the UCLA CEQH Website. *note that the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) will be listed on the CEQH Website. |
