Khadeeja Abdullah

When she was a baby, Khadeeja Abdullah lived two miles from the Bhopal disaster. Now she is a student studying environmental justice.

Chad Nelsen

Chad is the enviromental director for the San Clemente, California-based Surfrider Foundation. Nelsen and is in his thrid year as a doctoral student in the interdisciplinary Environmental Science and Engineering (ESE) program.

Sarah Rothenberg

"The ESE program gives you broad-based education so you are conversant in almost any environmental topic. You have a 360-degree scope of environmental problems in the world, which enables you to get in the door almost anywhere," says Sarah, who is currently in her 3rd year in the ES&E program.
