Biographical Information

Dr. Dinesh Khanna MD, MSc is an assistant adjunct professor in the Department of Health Services. He completed his fellowship in rheumatology and a Master's in Clinical Research at UCLA. He is currently an assistant professor of Medicine In-Residence in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine and directs the UCLA Scleroderma Clinic.

Dr. Khanna is particularly interested in assessment of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients with arthritis. His main interest is in understanding patient’s decision-making and incorporation of HRQOL in large arthritis-related clinical trials. He is funded by the NIH (K23 and U01) and Scleroderma Foundation. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and was awarded the 2007 Spirit of Leadership Award from the Scleroderma Foundation.
