Public Health Alumni Association

Dear Fellow Alumni:

As graduates of the UCLA School of Public Health, we are all members of the Public Health Alumni Association (PHAA).

The Association strives to keep alumni connected with one another and the School and to provide meaningful opportunities for continued learning. For instance, each year the PHAA hosts a variety of educational, networking and social activities for alumni and students, including off-campus educational forums, lectures and student career nights.

The PHAA is also proud of its ongoing participation and support of the Annual Lester Breslow Distinguished Lecture, presented by a prominent leader in the public health arena. During this annual event, alumni have the opportunity to hear a fascinating and informative lecture and to greet long-time friends and school faculty.

Last year, through the generous contributions of School supporters and alumni, over forty public health students were able to attend the lecture and dinner, affording these students a wonderful opportunity to expand their public health knowledge and to meet supportive alumni. In addition, at each Breslow Distinguished Lecture, the School highlights outstanding contributions made by our graduates through inductions into the School's Alumni Hall of Fame.

With events such as these, the PHAA builds upon the connections that exist between the School, its alumni, its current student body and the greater public health community. By working together to build upon these relationships, the public health opportunities for both students and alumni are greatly improved, thereby making the School a much greater resource for all.

Your involvement in the School is important to us. When we hear from you, we tailor alumni programs and interactions to meet your needs. I hope you will use these website pages to keep updated on faculty and student projects and to stay in touch with your School and your fellow classmates through the Public Health Alumni Association.

Sincerely,
