Global Health Lecture Series: Dr. Shamail Azimi, Medical Director, International Medical Corps (IMC) Pakistan staff

"Voices of Courage: An Aid Worker's Perspective from Afghanistan to Pakistan. Dr. Shamail was the first woman physician to enter Afghanistan after the fall of the
Taliban in December 2001. Her team successfully evaluated and made recommendations for
health care training activities during this transition period, serving to build capacity
through courses, seminars, hands-on training and individual mentoring."
