HMRGs Entertainment Education Project brought television industry creators together with health and science experts to discuss depictions of infectious disease in popular childrens television programming. This event launched HMRGs health prevention recognition award, presented to writer/producer Steven Banks for his The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius Journey to the Center of Carl episode.

May 5, 2004:
Amy Myerson and Jennifer McDonnell participated at the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) Mid-Year Conference in Orlando, Florida. The poster presentation was entitled: Healthy Beginnings: Development of an Interactive Multimedia CD-ROM for the Management of Gestational Diabetes.
