The Alliance for a Healthier
Generation recommends the Healthy Youth Funding Database
(HY-FUND). It is a user-friendly tool that contains
up-to-date information about funding opportunities for
adolescent and school health programs. These funding
opportunities are from federal agencies and the private
sector. Each funding opportunity is carefully selected
by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention
and Health promotion based on its relevance to
adolescent health, or one or more of the components of a
Healthy Schools Program including:
- Health Education
- Physical Education
- Nutrition Services
- Staff Wellness
- Family/Community Involvement
- Health Services
- Healthy School Environment
- Counseling & Social Services
