Dear Prospective Student:
Thank you for your interest in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences.
Applicants must meet the University minimum requirement of an acceptable bachelor’s degree with a B(3.0) average in upper division coursework.. Applicants to the MS or MPH program must have one year of general chemistry, two quarters of organic chemistry/ biochemistry, and mathematics through calculus, one year of biological sciences, and one year of physics. Most applicants hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, or other appropriate field. Applicants must provide three letters of recommendation, GRE/MCAT scores, transcripts, a personal statement and online application.

Financial Support
General support is available for outstanding and deserving students. Faculty members often have grants to facilitate research assistantships. U.S. students in the industrial hygiene program receive support through a NIOSH training grant. Other support includes campus and departmental fellowship funds. To apply for fellowships complete the fellowship section in the graduate admissions application.
Job Placement of Graduates
