Powerpoint PDF (before) and PPT (after) Presentations:

Each lecture/discussion will have a slide set in PDF format (6 slides per page), to be printed and brought to class as notes (click ).  The slides will then be posted on the web as MS Powerpoint presentations (i.e., PPT files, click ), available for review after the lectures are completed.  I recently acquired a MacBook computer, and found that the PPT files do not appear well on the Mac.  To address this, I have reposted the files as "Internet Explorer 3.0, Netscape Navigator 3.0, or later."  The slides now show up both in Windows and in Safari, although with Safari the animation feature does not work.  Instead, the slides show up as a single complete image, not scrolling out line by line with the click of a mouse as in Windows.
