Bita Amani, Doctoral Student, Epidemiology. the UCLA School of Public Health. She received her B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and M.H.S in Reproductive Biology from Johns Hopkins University. She has been a member of BERG since 2003.  During this time, she has worked on STD and HIV/AIDS research projects in both domestic and international settings. Her primary interests are increasing health research access to underserved communities, promoting responsible health research, and understanding health outcomes in social contexts.
