Marjan
Javanbakht, MPH, PhD is an epidemiologist whose research focuses
on the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections including
HIV. She is an Adjunct
Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the UCLA School
of Public Health. Current research includes transmission behaviors
among men recently infected with HIV, sexual risk behaviors among clients
attending STD clinics, particularly those repeatedly infected with
sexually transmitted infections, as well as issues surrounding adherence
to antiretroviral medications and the development of drug resistance. Dr.
Javanbakht completed her doctoral studies at the University of California,
Los Angeles and her Masters degree at Yale University. |
