At least 20 units must be in the 200 or 500 series. A maximum of one Epidem 291 course (2 units) or 290 course (2 units) and one 596 (4 units) may be applied toward the total course requirements. If the student intends to write a thesis, 4 units of Epidem 598 (thesis research) may also be applied to the 18 unit electives.

If you take a waiver examination or Blue Petition out of a School and/or Departmental Core Course you will need to make up the units with an elective course.
