The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology is an advanced research degree that emphasizes depth of knowledge and research skills.  Continuation in the doctoral program is contingent on satisfying the 3.3 (B+) grade point requirement. Recommendation for the degree is based on the attainments of the candidates rather than on the completion of specific courses. See below for specific requirements.

Students interested in applying to the doctoral program should be prepared to submit a writing sample with their application.
