The second residence in London of Edwin Chadwick was from 1831-32 at 40 Park Street, the home of Jeremy Bentham just south of St. James Park.  A statue of Queen Anne (in green) was near an iron gate between Queen's Square and Park Street, giving name to the neighborhood as "Queen Anne's Gate."
