The Ordnance Atlas of Suburban London in 1888 shows the location of the Lambeth Waterworks Company, thirty-six years after it relocated the intake in 1852 to supply cleaner River Thames water to the people of London.  Notice that the Chelsea Water Works had also relocated to the Seething Wells area.  Finally this map shows the location of Thames Ditton, usually mentioned in Snow's book when he writes of the Lambeth company's new intake site.

The water reservoir and filtration system that was established in 1847-52 by the Lambeth Waterworks Company still exists today in Seething Wells, but is operated by a different organization.
