A portrait photograph was taken of Reverend Henry Whitehead, aged 59 years, by Scott and Sons for showing at the Anglican Church Congress of 1884 in Carlisle (middle right), England.  At the time, Reverend Whitehead was assigned to the little dale chapelry of Newlands (lower center) in Cumberland south of Carlisle.
