Injury and Illness Prevention Programs

Fee Schedule

Standard Fee:

Early bird (before 5/26/12)

Fee includes course manual, refreshments, parking ( Parking is only free if instructions are followed.)

Payment Terms:
(rev. 11/6/09): Substitutions may be made without additional charge. Cancellations must be in writing. Refund schedule:

  • Cancellation 15 or more business days before the class 80% of registration fee
  • Cancellation 7-14 business days before the class 50%
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the class and "no shows" No refund
If course materials such as books have been sent to course participants in advance, the cost of that material will be subtracted from the refund.

UCLA reserves the right to postpone an offering 7 days prior to the course date should minimum enrollment requirements not be met. If a program is canceled, you will be notified and your registration fee will be refunded in full, less the cost of course materials sent in advance if they are not returned in the condition in which they were received. The liability of UCLA is limited to the course fee.

Whether you are developing your Injury Illness Prevention Program IIPP for the first time or updating an existing IIPP this program will start from the beginning and take you to a successful end. We will discuss and understand what is Cal/OSHA’s IIPP, what is it’s purpose, what are its requirements and how to develop, implement and update an effective IIPP. Not only will we review the 8 Key elements required by Cal/OSHA’s IIPP, but we’ll also discuss in detail what each one of these key elements means and how to implement each key elements so that they are effective in your overall safety program and organization. Lastly, we will make sure that we review some options on how to have your IIPP work with and supplement any existing safety program.

How do I get to UCLA from LAX? You can rent a car, take a taxi or shuttle, but the easiest and least expensive way is the Flyaway. The Flyaway is direct from LAX to campus and reverse. It runs once per hour between 6 am and 10 pm. The cost is $10 each way (no cash accepted).
