Standard Fee: $895 Early Bird: $795 (Register by July 19, 2008) Fee includes handouts, continental breakfast, parking and all applicable state sales taxes.
The fee also includes the newly revised edition of the Hazardous Materials Management Desk Reference. (We will send the book directly to you in advance if your registration is paid for by July 18, 2007.)

Health and safety professionals working for state or local government may be eligible for a $100 per day fee stipend (subject to availability of funds).

Payment Terms: Substitutions may be made at any time without additional charge. The registration fee, less 20%, is refundable if written notification is received at least 2 weeks prior to the program. For cancellation within 14 days prior to the course, 50% of the registration fee is refundable. If course materials such a books have been sent to course participants in advance, the cost of that material will be subtracted from the refund. "No shows" are subject to the full fee.

UCLA reserves the right to postpone an offering 7 days prior to the course date should minimum enrollment requirements not be met. If a program is canceled, you will be notified and your registration fee will be refunded in full, less the cost of course materials sent in advance if they are not returned in the condition in which they were received. The liability of UCLA is limited to the course fee.


Overview:  

The purpose of this 3- day review course is to promote knowledge of professional hazardous materials management principles and assist students to prepare for certification as a Hazardous Materials Manager. The CHMM credential is nationally recognized and promotes career advancement and recognition in the field of hazardous materials management and engineering. Content areas are defined by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. If you are just beginning your study and are not planning to take the exam soon, this course will provide you with an overview of the areas that will be the focus of your exam preparation efforts.


Who Should Attend:  

Training is intended for safety professionals, industrial hygienists, plant managers, supervisory personnel, union representatives and any safety and health professionals responsible for safety in their workplace.
