The Southern California Education and Research Center seeks to provide as much occupational and environmental health and safety training at affordable cost as possible. And, when we can obtain support from outside sources, we offer free classes.
Our Current Free Classes:

Preparing Your Business to Survive Pandemic Flu and Other Disasters (supported by a grant from OSHA [Occupational Safety and Health Administration]

This class is offered 2 ways -

  • 1-hour webinar
  • 1-, 2, or 3-hour onsite workshop at your worksite or organization

Subsidies for Health and Safety Professionals Working for State or Local Government:

NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety ad Health) provides funding to support hazardous substance training for employees of state and local government who are health and safety professionals. We are often able to provide stipends that greatly reduce the cost of eligible courses. Look for the courses listed in green on the Course Schedule. Check with us to inquire about the availability of stipends for particular courses.
