This is a document supporting Rocketdyne's Area I Thermal Treatment Facility
Closure Plan. The document addresses proposed sampling locations in former
and current waste management areas within the Area I facility (on-site). The
report includes both a site specific Field Sampling Plan (FSP), which defines
site specific sampling and data gathering methods, and the quality assurance
Project Plan (QAPP), which describes organizational and functional activities
and quality control protocols.

on the Detonation of Military Ordnance at Boeing North America, Inc. Simi

This document reports to the community on the ordnance detonation that occurred
on-site on Thursday, April 15, 1999, and includes specific information presented
on events that day and DTSC's temporary emergency permit for the detonation
of 53 rounds of ordnance. The update also describes how the community can
learn more about the SSFL site as well as how to go about obtaining information
on meetings and other public participation opportunities (addresses for materials
repositories and contact information).

A description of the RCRA Facility investigation activities scheduled for
the Old Conservation Yard (Solid Waste Management Unit 7.4-on-site) is provided
in this document as well as background on the debris found, debris volume,
proposed removal, waste management and date for removal. Also included is
a map of where the debris was found.
