The lunch duty volunteering at Downtown Midnight Mission was a fun time and a great success! Thanks to all who participated~ You had made a valuable contribution to those in need. May the strong commitment of serving our community continues to grow among HSSAers~!
Thank you to all attendees and you have made a great contribution to the future of HSSA! We had a diverse crowd with students from all UCLA SPH departments, the EMPH program, USC, Anderson, HS alumni, health care professionals, family and friends, and HS faculty. It was a really wonderful and fun night!
Thank you to those of you who came to the Annual Mixer at the Westwood Napa Valley Grille. We hope everyone enjOyed some gourmet hors d' oeuvres and had a wonderful Time mingling with fellow classmates, alumni, and faculty members!
Celebrating the first day of classes at the HSSA Bonfire at Dockweiler State Beach, we had a great time to meet and catch up with classmates, enjoy the California beach and eat some food (wraps and s'mores!) .
Thanks to Hanh Pham (captain), Chris Eisert, Ashley Erickson and Elizabeth Morgan (alternate), the Bowl is back home at UCLA (where it belongs)!! The team did a masterful job besting our long term College Bowl nemesis, CSULB. Other competing teams were USC, CSU San Bernardino and CSU Northridge. Under the mentorship of Head Coach Dylan Roby, Ph D and Offensive Coach Neil Sehgal (MPH '04), the team brought honor unto us all. You've made us proud. Go Bruins!
The Tournament took place Saturday, April 25th at the UCLA Student Activities Center (SAC). Congratulations to the Hebrew Hammers who won the championship game! Winners received Yogurtland gift certificates and bragging rights for the next year. We hope to see all of you in 2010 for our Third Annual event!
