THE HEALTHCARE COLLABORATIVE AT UCLA
The Healthcare Collaborative at UCLA was established in 1999 under
the auspices of the UCLA Center for Health Services Management.
The Collaborative brings together students, alumni, faculty and
staff of the UCLA School of Public Health, The Anderson School at
UCLA, and the UCLA School of Medicine, and members of the Southern
California healthcare community. The Collaborative facilitates the
exchange of information and services to enhance the development
of health professionals and organizations in California, thus helping
them to keep ahead of the dynamic healthcare marketplace. There
is no charge for membership.
The Healthcare Collaborative includes over 6,000 healthcare executives
and policymakers representing virtually every segment of the healthcare
industry and healthcare organizations. Members represent a broad
cross-section of professionals working in healthcare management
(physicians, nurses, lawyers, health plan executives,) hospitals,
medical groups, consulting firms, pharmaceutical companies and ancillary
health care providers.
The Healthcare Collaborative at UCLA sponsors events and invites
industry leaders in both the private and public sectors to discuss
topical issues in healthcare. The Management and Policy Forum (LINK
TO NEW WORD DOCUMENT ATTACHED) is held in the evenings on the UCLA
Campus at The Anderson Graduate School of Management. Ample opportunities
are provided for networking. There is no charge for these events.
