Training Programs
There are currently three traineeships available to Health Services
students.
Child and Family Health Program
The UCLA Child and Family Health Program provides interdisciplinary
training in maternal and child health practice, research and policy
analysis for health professionals enrolled in the Master of Public
Health (MPH) program in the UCLA School of Public Health.
Maternal and Child Health Economics
Analysis Training Grant
This program offers training for doctoral and post-doctoral students
in the design of family-centered health services, formulation and analysis
of policy options, advocacy for children and families, and research
and evaluation of health systems serving mothers, children, families
and communities.
UCLA/RAND
The UCLA/RAND Health Services Research Training Program is supported
by a grant from the Agency for Health Care Research Quality. The program
is designed to provide training and experience to a select group of
doctoral and post-doctoral fellows in the field of health services research.
Fellows, in turn, are expected to pursue a career in the field of health
services research.
