Universal Health Insurance for Californians

On Friday, February 8th the Health Care Options Symposium for Los Angeles was held on behalf of the California Health and Human Services Agency and the California State Library/California Research Bureau.  This series of symposia are an opportunity to explore different options for expanding health coverage in California with the presentation of several proposals and feedback from stakeholders.  SB 480 supported the studies through an RFP process and the subsequent symposia – with the purpose of eliciting debate and building consensus.  For more information, please see www.healthcareoptions.ca.gov - this includes the written policy proposals.                    Read >>
