Office of the Associate Dean for Research
Welcome to the UCLA School of Public Health Research Web Site. The School's
dynamic research portfolio, coupled with excellence in teaching and service, are what make the UCLA
School of Public Health a premier academic institution. To ensure ease in obtaining desired research related
information, the site has been divided into four sections. The Faculty and Research Section includes
faculty profiles and research interests, as well as a convenient experts database. Honors received and books
published by our faculty are also catalogued here for quick reference. The Research Highlights Section features
the many groundbreaking contributions made to the field of public health by our faculty. Much of the cutting-edge
research in the school is conducted through several thematic, multi-disciplinary centers, which are described
in the Centers and Programs Section. For faculty and students, the site provides a central location for
Contract and Grant Information, including: research funding opportunities, links to funding agencies,
policies and procedures, instituional review board requirements, frequently used forms and a proposal
preparation toolkit.
